Hi-Five for Lo-Fi Records exists elsewhere on the web. we are always trying out musician friendly sites and new ways of connecting with people. some we like and some we don't like so much. here is a list of some of the ones we like and are on, or at least ones we are trying to like:
(click on the buttons on the left-hand side to visit us on these sites)
Myspace - we use our myspace music player as a mix tape featuring 10 great artists and songs. We hope to update the player as often as possible. Let us know if you'd want your music up on it (sometimes we have a theme, sometimes the theme is just good songs). Add us as a friend and say hello.
Facebook - we've started a facebook page because we realize that a lot of people are using it (or at least everyone I know in the 'real' world seems to use Facebook). It would be sweet if you became a fan of ours, listen to the tunes, write on our wall and other facebook-ish type stuff.
Twitter - I used to not get Twitter, but now I actually quite like it. If you are on there and if you think you'd be interested in HI54LOFI related stuff as well as things that we find interesting, then please do follow us. And if we think you are interesting and like interesting things, then we will follow you back.
Tumblr - there is a link here on our main menu board, but here it is again in case you missed it. We try to do at least one post a day (usually a song to listen to). We recommend you swing by and check it out and if you like it, please do 'follow us'. And then tell your friends and family to do the same.
The 61 - we had just started an account on The 61 and were really loving it there and then they changed the whole setup. Now I still like it, but its definitely not the same as it used to be. But I think they probably based their re-design around iPhones and iPads, so maybe if / when I get one of those I'll like it a lot again. If you are on there, come swing by and drop a few hearts. We use some other sites as well. You can check this blog post for that.
